INDIANA---Not a collector of Western art? Some of the world’s most celebrated artists were offered for sale at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art's "Quest for the West Art Show and Sale," Sept. 6 through 8. That event raised $1.2 million, but the museum's September fundraising isn't over. The museum is also hosting a $4,900 crowdfunding fundraiser on power2give to support its upcoming program on Gay Native Americans. Entitled, “Two-spirit”, the program is on Saturday, September 28, and the public is invited to explore the divide between traditionally celebratory Native Americans views on homosexuality versus contemporary views. Guests on September 28 will also have access to the Quest exhibit.
